A Parish of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee
Praising God through
The men of the parish are invited to get involved in projects which support the parish goals. The Knights meet once a month. Activities include the Tootsie Roll Drive to benefit those with intellectual disabilities, a shrimp and crab boil, a chicken and ribs dinner, Mother's Day Breakfasts and monthly breakfasts to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries.
Charged with keeping all the parish property, buildings and grounds in good condition, the Maintenance Committee's routine work includes HVAC units, lights and lawn care. Special projects include any major work required. The parish is especially in need of members who would like to help by contributing their talents, such as electrical, plumbing and mowing.
This committee dispenses funds for people in need. The common needs are help with food, electricity and heating bills. Cash is not given, rather, checks are made payable to the power or propane company. Most food is dispensed through the Food Pantry kept by the Ladies' Circle.
An affiliate of the Council of Catholic Women, the Lady’s Circle meets on the second Sunday of the month at 11:15 a.m. in the Education Building. They participate in many service activities in the community and the church and also sponsor many activities and fund raisers, including: bake sales, a Relay for Life team, supporting religious education, helping the needy, stocking the food pantry, hosting the Fathers' Day Breakfast and sponsoring the Burse Club.
